Grooming takes place in a fully purpose-built, air-conditioned grooming salon, cleaned and disinfected between every dog, with a quiet, one-to-one setting that keeps stress to a minimum. Everything is designed to keep every dog comfortable, relaxed, and safe throughout their visit. Our approach is patient, gentle, and thorough, so every dog leaves looking great and feeling comfortable.

No fighting traffic, no rearranging your whole day around a grooming appointment — we come to you, collect your dog, and bring them home happy, clean, and looking their best. It's grooming built around your schedule, with the same careful, qualified care you'd expect if you brought them in yourself.

The Fairy Tail Salon
Every fairy tale needs its castle, and this is ours. The Hairy Tails salon is a purpose-built grooming studio, designed from the ground up around your dog's comfort and safety. Inside, it's bright, calm and spotlessly clean, with a professional grooming table, a dedicated bathing area and professional drying equipment, all cleaned and disinfected between every dog. We groom one dog at a time, so there's no barking chorus and no rush, just a quiet, one-to-one space where your dog can relax and enjoy being pampered. When you arrive, simply park on the drive and we'll take it from there.
The Tail as Old as Time
Hairy Tails was founded by Justine, whose love of animals goes back as far as she can remember. What started as a childhood spent surrounded by pets, grew into a genuine passion for animal care, and eventually into a career built on proper training and hands-on experience. Justine holds a Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management, bringing qualified, professional skill to every appointment. Whether it be handling a nervous first-timer or the precision of a breed-standard trim, Justine's vision and commitment is in delivering Hairy Tails' high standards and ensuring "every tail leaves wagging".
